David's First Knife
When my son, David, was 13 he showed some interest in forging a knife. The only part that I did to this knife was the finish grinding. He forged it, rough-ground it, heat treated it and finished it off with the best piece of Sambar stag I had at the time. It's a fine job.

The particulars:
Blade 5160, 3.5" long, differentially heat treated, hand rubbed finish.
Brass ferrule.
Crown Sambar stag handle.
